the most homegrown teams

Player trades and big free agent signings are a fact of life in the NFL, with stars often jumping between several teams over the course of their career.

While technically the NFL is a level playing field given every team in the league is held to a salary cap, some teams may have to rely on the draft more than others. Consistently underperforming, turbulent front offices, salary cap mismanagement, being located in a smaller market or in a state with higher income tax are just some factors that can lead to a franchise not being a dream destination for star players. This is why some teams may have to put more emphasis on the draft compared to others.

Of course, cultivating this sort of homegrown talent is by no means a bad thing, and it can often be the catalyst that launches newer players into future stardom. So, with the 2025-26 NFL season now underway, we decided to look at each team’s current roster to see which uses the most home-grown talent.

For each roster, we calculated the percentage of players who have spent their entire NFL careers with one team rather than being acquired from other franchises, helping us to work out which teams put the most effort into creating new stars by building, rather than acquiring , their talent.

Here’s what we uncovered!

The top 10 NFL teams with the most home-grown players

According to our data, the average NFL roster consists of a surprising 57% homegrown talent, with the Washington Commanders ranking as the franchise with the fewest homegrown players at just 39%. That figure also includes players signed to the practice squad, not just those on the active 53-man roster. In contrast, the following teams have the highest percentage of homegrown talent out there:

homegrown talent NFL

1. Baltimore Ravens

With a massive 77% of their roster being made up of players who have spent their whole careers with the team, the Baltimore Ravens rank as the NFL franchise with the most homegrown talent in the 2025-26 season!

Of the 61 players they currently have signed, 47 have never played for another team. Some of their most notable homegrown athletes include star QB Lamar Jackson, who has played for the Ravens since being drafted in the first round in 2018, and 2024 Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers.

The Ravens finished 2024 and 2025 as divisional champions, but have struggled to translate their regular-season success into a strong playoff performance, in spite of achieving an average win rate of 61% over the past five years. With such a young roster of developing talent, though, they’re likely to get even stronger in the coming seasons.

2. Buffalo Bills

45 players on the Buffalo Bills’ 62-person roster have never played for another team. This means 73% of their current squad consists of homegrown players, with standout players like 2024 MVP quarterback Josh Allen and 2x Pro Bowl running back James Cook ranking among their top stars.

Overall, the Bills have the second-best track record in the league for developing their own athletes, with their commitment to developing new talent seeming to pay off, as the Bills have had the second-highest win rate of the last five seasons (71%).

The team has also made it to the playoffs in every season since the beginning of the Sean McDermott era in 2017, with their biggest successes coming in 2020 and 2024, when they reached the AFC Championship game before losing to the Chiefs on both occasions.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The 2020 Super Bowl champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made significant roster changes in the years that followed their title win, especially with legendary quarterback Tom Brady announcing his retirement from the NFL in 2022.

The Bucs now boast a roster made up of 71% homegrown players, earning them a podium finish on our list. 45 of their 63 signees have never played for other teams, including running back Bucky Irving and newly drafted wide receiver Emeka Egbuka.

Despite not being able to make it back to the Super Bowl since the 2020 season, the Bucs’ drafted players have been a big reason why Tampa Bay has remained in contention.

On the offensive side, Mike Evans who is playing his 12th season with Tampa has continued to hit 1,000 yard seasons and even though that streak is likely to die this year, Egbuka looks to be another home run pick. Tristan Wirfs remains one of the best offensive tackles in the league meanwhile on defense, homegrown stalwarts such as Vita Vea and Lavonte David (14 seasons with Tampa) continue to make plays.

4. Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the most dominant teams in recent NFL history, winning back-to-back Super Bowls in 2022 and 2023. They were also the 2024 AFC Champions, though they eventually lost to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Many would agree, however, that their success has hinged partially on homegrown stars like tight end Travis Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, both of whom have become household names in recent years.

Of the 62 athletes currently signed to the Chiefs, 42 have never played for another NFL team. This means they developed 68% of their talent, rather than signing in free agency or trading for them. And with the highest win rate of any team in the NFL over the last five years (77%), their methods have clearly paid off.

5. Green Bay Packers

With a 62% win rate across the last five NFL seasons, the Green Bay Packers are one of the most successful teams in our top 10. Their quarterback, Jordan Love, is arguably their biggest homegrown star, having played on the starting roster since 2023, while tight end Tucker Kraft and wide receiver Romeo Doubs are other notable Packers players who have never played for another team.

Overall, 67% of Packers talent on the 2025-26 roster consists of rising stars who have spent their whole careers with the franchise – that’s 42 of their 63 players. However, after reaching consecutive conference finals in 2019 and 2020, the team has struggled in the playoffs, with most of their wins coming from strong regular-season finishes.

6. Los Angeles Rams

Another team that focuses on supporting its players’ growth is the Los Angeles Rams, as two-thirds of its players (66%) have spent their NFL careers with the franchise. The 2021 NFL Champions failed to qualify for the playoffs the following year, but they’ve found moderate postseason success since undergoing roster changes.

Following the mini-rebuild after their Super Bowl win, the Rams’ mentality seems to have gone from ‘F them picks’ to ‘love them picks’ and this seems to have paid off.

Drafted talent such as Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams have helped the Rams offense light up the scoreboard. While on defense, the huge loss of Aaron Donald has been somewhat negated due to the selections of Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, Kobie Turner and Byron Young.

7. Cincinnati Bengals

59 players are currently signed to the Cincinnati Bengals, with 38 of them having played for the team since their NFL debuts. This means that 64% of the Bengals’ 2025-26 roster consists of homegrown stars. After finishing the 2021 playoffs as Conference Champions, eventually losing the Super Bowl to the Los Angeles Rams, the Bengals’ postseasons have been hit-and-miss.

But despite their patchy track record in recent years, fans still have plenty of homegrown players to be excited about. For example, the 2024 Comeback Player of the Year, quarterback Joe Burrow, has played for the Bengals since his 2020 debut, while the homegrown duo of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins is arguably the best receiving duo in the NFL.

8. Seattle Seahawks

Boasting a roster of 64% homegrown talent, the Seattle Seahawks finish at #8 on our list. Throughout the 2020s, the Seahawks have failed to progress past the Wild Card round, despite typically finishing their regular seasons with positive records. However, the team has also lost some key players through roster moves, though there are still rising stars in the Seahawks roster to watch.

Case in point, running backs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet have spent their NFL careers in Seattle since being drafted, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba has established himself as one of the most productive wide receivers in the league.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have reached the postseason only once since 2020, advancing to the 2022 Divisional Playoffs before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs. But regardless of their recent win rate, the Jags are still helping to develop many players into stars.

Of their 59 signed players in the 2025-26 season, 37 have played for the side since their debuts, meaning 63% of the roster is homegrown. Some of the Jaguars’ most notable stars have been trained by the team since the end of their college careers, such as quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who was drafted first overall in 2021.

10. Indianapolis Colts

Rounding out our list are the Indianapolis Colts, whose roster consists of 62% homegrown players. Some of their most notable players, such as running back Jonathan Taylor and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., have represented Indianapolis since joining the league. But despite a strong base of homegrown talent, the Colts haven’t seen much playoff success recently, with their only postseason appearance of the last five years coming in 2020 (a loss to the Buffalo Bills).

Still, when it comes to homegrown talent, the Colts managed to narrowly beat the Dallas Cowboys (62%), the Minnesota Vikings, and the Cleveland Browns (both 58%) to place at #10 in our rankings.

Do homegrown players impact a team’s win rate?

There are several advantages to building players from within a team rather than acquiring established stars or making a splash in free agency: it costs less money upfront, it can boost your team’s morale and help maintain the team’s culture, but does it impact how your team performs on the field?

Well, by plotting each of our teams on a chart ranked by their percentage of homegrown talent and comparing their rankings to their win rate over the last five seasons, we can see that the results vary wildly.

There’s no denying the success of some of our highest-ranking teams, like the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. On the other side, teams with much less consistent success scored towards the bottom of our list. The Washington Commanders were found to have the lowest percentage of homegrown players and are a franchise which have generally struggled in recent years. However, last season’s success with drafted stars such as Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin will give Commanders fans hope for the future, if they can stay healthy.

Overall, there does appear to be a moderate positive correlation (r=0.62) between the number of players who have played their whole careers on one roster and that team’s win rate, but it’s clear that this is on a case-by-case basis.

So, while cultivating new talent is crucial to securing your team’s future, it really does depend on how players are used in their matches in order to achieve success on the field, and a combination of newer and established athletes may be what really helps to create a roster with plenty of depth and versatility.

Methodology

This study ranks all 32 NFL teams based on the number of homegrown players present in their 2025-2026 squad.

“Homegrown players” were defined as athletes who have been drafted by the team they currently play in and haven’t moved, as well as players who have joined the team as a free agent and have never played for another franchise.

The number of “Homegrown players” were then added up and compared to the total squad size to give a percentage, at which point, all teams were ranked from highest to lowest, based on the number of homegrown players present. Total squad size also includes players signed to the practice squad, not just those on the active 53-man roster. Data is accurate as of 23/10/2025.

mike tyson interview

Boxing icon Mike Tyson spoke exclusively to Hard Rock Bet and provided an update ahead of his upcoming fight against Floyd Mayweather in 2026 before promising to produce a stunning knockout.

The youngest undisputed heavyweight champion of all time also opened up on his fight against Jake Paul, hopes for a rematch, Oleksandr Usyk being a generational great and how Terence Crawford is the best fighter of his generation.

‘Iron’ Mike also spoke about his upcoming ‘Return of the Mike’ one-man show exclusively at Hard Rock Live venues across the country and revealed why he loves being part of the Hard Rock Bet family.

‘Return of the Mike’, Hard Rock Bet

We’ve seen you collaborate with the Hard Rock brand frequently between the Hard Rock Bet Party campaign and your upcoming ‘Return of Mike’ tour, what’s been your favorite part about working with the brand?

Mike Tyson: “Hey, it’s a no-brainer, they’re winners, I want to hang out with the winners.

“You can’t find somebody, at least I can’t, that has a bad thing to say about the Hard Rock.

“I can get a bunch of people say things about a bunch of casinos that is not nice, but you can’t say nothing bad about the Hard Rock. 100% [the people are great].”

What can fans expect at the upcoming ‘Return of the Mike’ shows?

Mike Tyson: “Self-deprecation, a little bit of fun, It’s going to be a bunch of everything, it’s going to be so difficult to explain.

“It’s going to be about legacy, it’s going to be about health, it’s going to be about family, it’s going be about children, it’s a variation of a bunch of stuff.”

On facing Floyd Mayweather Jr.

How did the fight get made with Floyd Mayweather?

Mike Tyson: “I have no idea, Floyd wanted to fight me.”

Do you have a good relationship with Floyd Mayweather?

Mike Tyson: “I don’t know, I think I got a pretty decent relationship with him. I don’t hate him, you know what I’m speaking. I don’t have any harsh feelings.”

When will it take place?

Mike Tyson: “I have no idea, maybe in March or April.”

With a record of 50-0, Floyd considers himself as the greatest, where does he rank alongside the all time greats?

Mike Tyson: “Well, he’s big time, there’s no doubt about it.”

There has been rumors of Floyd fighting Manny Pacquiao in March, is there any truth to this – can you clear things up as to where your fight with Floyd stands?

Mike Tyson: “I wish I could give you some input, but I have no idea what you’re talking about as far as those two guys fighting. He definitely reigns with the greats, there’s no doubt. He put in his work.”

Where will this fight rank in your career as big fights?

Mike Tyson: “I’m going to tell you where it’s going to rank, though. I don’t know, it’s going rank… it probably supersedes all my fights I ever have. It’s capable of doing that. And this is really serious.

“It’s going to supersede all the fights and all the glory he had before this. This is taking boxing to a new level. Almost God status.”

Do you knock Floyd Mayweather out?

Mike Tyson: “It looks that way, as I anticipated. It looks like he’s going to get knocked out.”

Future fights, staying in shape, Jake Paul

Do you see yourself fighting again afterwards? A Lennox Lewis rematch?

Mike Tyson: “I don’t see that. No, I see Floyd, maybe somebody else, I don’t know. Anything’s possible, you know? I don’t want to fight those guys, but if money can be made [then why not].

“I fight people because they’re my friends, you know. How are people going to get this money? How are we going to go to do business together?

“This is what fighting’s all about. It’s about business. He’s [Floyd] going be a fighter for so long, he’s going to be a businessman forever and when you combine the two, you know, you’re very lucky.”

You looked in incredible shape against Jake Paul, what is it like to train now compared to when you was at your peak?

Mike Tyson: “I just keep moving, I don’t stop, you know what I mean? Big wheels keep moving, they don’t stop and I was really ill,

“I didn’t want to use that for an excuse, but I had some real bad health problems, but I’m fine now. I have no excuses.

“I feel good right now, this is the best I’ve felt. I can’t wait to start getting in the ring. I learned [a lot] from my last fight.

“I left a lot of my fight in the gym. I worked too hard. I was too intense; I was too extreme. I need to relax more. That’s what I always believe. I need to relax more.”

You continue to inspire millions of people around the world, it must feel good?

Mike Tyson: “I don’t look at my life as being inspiration, I look at my life as just somebody passing through. Like, everyone else, we’re just passing through.”

How do you reflect on your fight against Jake Paul?

Mike Tyson: “I’m getting more and more confident, and I believe I’ll be better in the next fight coming up.

“But this fight right here, I think I’d be more adapted, because I had my other two experiences. I realized how to train this time, then other times.

“That was the first time he trained, and that’s, you know, an older guy, like, 60 years old, that intense. And I think I trained a little bit too intense, and I left most of my fight in the gym.

“I’m just hoping, after this Floyd fight, maybe we can have a rematch. Yes, I would, I would be interested in that.”

What was Jake Paul like inside the ring?

Mike Tyson: “He did well, but I want to try it again.”

On Oleksandr Usyk, legacy

What do you make of Oleksandr Usyk?

Mike Tyson: “I’m very impressed. Anybody can say whatever he wants. He’s the greatest heavyweight of his time right now.

“Nobody can beat him. He beat everybody. He beat everybody, so you have to give him his flowers.”

How does Usyk perform against your era of fighters, including yourself, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield etc.?

Mike Tyson: “I don’t know, maybe he would have done good with some of us and bad with some of us, too. You know, it’s tough for me seeing him dominate that era.

“Fighting was different then, too, you know? It was all about being aggressive. The boxer didn’t get much, they didn’t get much entitlement, once we’re in the ring the aggressive fighter got more of the points.

“Even if he got hit more, because he was making the fight, they would give him the rounds. It’s all about excitement.

“If you’re an exciting fighter, you bring the people in the arena, you’re the man. You could be the greatest fighter in the world, but you could be boring, nobody wants to see you. Beat everybody, but nobody wants to see you fight, and you’re boring.”

On Tyson Fury and retirement

One fighter who isn’t boring is Tyson Fury… should he return to boxing?

Mike Tyson: “Look, take a couple of months off and come back. Yes, come back. You’re going to want to come back when you’re 40-something, so start doing it now.

“I said, man, I wish I didn’t quit. So you just keep training right now, and keep fighting because you’re going to want to do it when you’re 40.

“If you quit now, when you’re 40, you’re going to say, wow, I wish I could… I wish I didn’t stop fighting. Keep fighting until you can’t fight anymore.

“That’s what I do. Keep fighting until you can’t… if I can’t… I want to keep fighting until I can’t breathe anymore. Keep fighting. Knock me out, f*** it.”

What about Tyson Fury the man…

Mike Tyson: “He just needs to rest his mind, alright? You just need to relax his mind, and go back and do what he does better than anything else, and that’s fighting.

“He’s going to be very unhappy when he’s 40 and say, I could’ve fought them, guys, I shouldn’t have stopped fighting. He needs to just take a little breather, and then come back.”

Who should Tyson Fury fight next?

Mike Tyson: “I think he should get two warm-up fights, you know, but good money fights, and then fight those guys. He can make a lot of money fighting the contenders, up-and-coming guys. Get warmed up with those guys and go right for the title.”

Terrance Crawford, Canelo Alvarez

How impressed were you with Terence Crawford during his win over Canelo Alvarez?

Mike Tyson: “That was beautiful, incredible. You have got to give him all the respect in the world. He climbed the mountain, and he conquered it. He’s like Henry Armstrong.

“Henry Armstrong won the welterweight title at 126 pounds. Can you imagine that? At 126 pounds, he won the welterweight title, he beat the welterweight champ.

“That’s never been heard, that’ll probably never be done again in modern boxing. The featherweight champion beating the welterweight champion.”

Should Canelo have a rematch against Terence Crawford?

Mike Tyson: “That’s not bad, yeah, I picked that rematch. I went with Canelo the last time, I have to go with Crawford this time.

“I want to see, Crawford fight Jaron Ennis Boots. I want to see him fight one of the Charlo brothers too. I want to see Boots take a test. Charlo, one of those guys. The Charlo brothers, he went up to 154 pounds.

“Let him challenge one of those guys. I want to see him be tested. I want to see him knocked down. I want to see him go to his corner and take a deep breath.”

UFC vs Boxing

Is the UFC bigger than boxing in America?

Mike Tyson: “Well, listen, you know what’s interesting about boxing? It’s almost like it can’t be canceled. It has this primary group of fans, that they can live on forever.

“Even if it went on boxing on a hiatus, it had the hardcore fans that’s enough that they could survive off.

“Like, no doubt about it, the UFC has more entertainment and excitement. When there’s no fight, when the fights are over, it’s a party until the fight till they start another fight.

“In boxing, they’re waiting around, people are looking at each other’s face, talking, and the UFC is constant activity going on”

Dana White is entering boxing, can he be a success?

Mike Tyson: “I think he would do well to have more options, and I think if he hired me, he would win totally. I knew Dana when he had hair.

“What he does, the UFC [is great]. Now we’re going to get him over to boxing and help him become the greatest promoter at all time.”

Can Dana White fix boxing?

Mike Tyson: “Boxing was created broken, and it’s going to die broken. If Dana can fix it, I want to see it. He has to understand the kind of people he’s dealing with. I think he dealt with Turki [Alalsheik] but I don’t think he actually dealt with the… the core of boxing people.

“He’s going to have to crush every one of them, because they’re all going to have their opinion, as far as what he wants to do with the boxing world. I’m with Dana, I like his audacity to challenge boxing. I tried that before, and they all jumped on me, so I’m going to like this journey.

“Listen, this is what I found out in boxing. Everything in boxing is not on the table. There’s always something underneath the table that we don’t know about. That’s what I know. That’s the golden rule in boxing.

“Everything’s not always on the table. There’s always something underneath the table that we don’t see, and that’s boxing.”

Who is the No. 1 pound for pound in boxing?

Who is the P4P No.1 in boxing?

Mike Tyson: “Terence Crawford drew 40 million people. How much did, Usyk draw? Crawford is the greatest fighter of his generation. You know who the greatest fighter is?

“The greatest fighter’s not the best guy with the technique. The greatest fighter is who can put more a**** in the seat. That’s the greatest fighter.”

Cost of Being A SuperFan

How much does it cost to be a sports superfan?

A study in 2023 showed that around three quarters of Americans consider themselves sports fans. This means we’re more likely to follow our favorite leagues and teams than other countries with major markets, such as the United Kingdom, where only 64% of people say they actively watch sports.

And as any dedicated sports fan will tell you, there are definitely different levels of fan support out there. While some fans take a casual approach and might catch the occasional game at home, others devote their lives to cheering on their teams and are willing to pay for the chance to see the action live.

With controversial ticketing prices on the rise, such as the NFL’s decision to remove UK-based games from season tickets, we decided to take a look at which Big Four and Premier League teams are the most expensive to support, as well as comparing leagues to see which sets the highest prices for its fans. From the price of home and away games, to fan merchandise, and even TV subscriptions, we’ll be investigating the real cost of being a sporting superfan.

What is the average cost of an away game?

Following your team to an away game is one of the best parts of being a sports fan, but the price of a ticket can vary depending on which sport and team you’re watching. Not only do venues charge different rates for seats and food, but local hotels and travel costs can also impact the price.

Therefore, to calculate the average cost of an away day, we took the total cost of a season ticket for each team in the Big Four leagues, then added the price of parking, travel, food (one hotdog) and drink (one beer and one soft drink), before dividing this by the number of away games in a team’s calendar, to give us a rough estimate of how much a typical trip would cost.

Based on this, the most affordable league for away games wound up being Major League Baseball, with the average game costing $399. However, with 81 away games played by each team every season, it’s a particularly intensive schedule to follow.

Meanwhile, attending an NHL team’s away games averages out at around $468 per game, while NBA fans can expect to spend around $510 for ticketing.

Overall, though, the NFL ranks as the most expensive league to follow. Despite each team only playing eight to nine away games each season, fans can expect to spend as much as $590 per game if they’re looking to follow their team across America for an entire season.

The true cost of being a superfanThe actual cost of being a superfan

It’s not just ticket prices that vary between leagues, but the prices of merchandise too. While each Big Four league maintains a similar price for its jerseys across each team, the average cost can rise or fall when comparing each sport to one another. However, this is usually very minimal and there’s multiple different options. In our data, we simply chose the most popular hoodie for each team.

However, one thing that does vary between teams is season ticket costs and parking, with some venues definitely fetching a higher price than others. A season ticket for the New York Yankees, for example, costs $5,670 – the most of any Big Four team! By comparison, the Chicago White Sox have season tickets available for just $584.

Which teams have the most expensive schedules for superfans to follow?

With differing season ticket costs in mind, which teams charge the most for theirs in each league? Well, we’ve already discussed how the Yankees have the highest season ticket prices in the MLB, but they’re also closely followed by the Boston Red Sox ($4,455) and Houston Astros ($3,403).

The Yankees also boast the highest parking costs for home games of any American sports team, with a season costing as much as $2,498 across all their games.

For NHL fans, the Toronto Maple Leafs charge the most for their season tickets, with prices reaching $3,854, while the Boston Bruins’ season tickets are the second most expensive in the league ($2,911), and the Seattle Krakens ranking third ($2,870).

By comparison, the Anaheim Ducks charge just $792 for their season tickets, making them the most affordable NHL team to support (and the only team to charge less than $1,000).

The New York Knicks’ season tickets fetch the highest price in the NBA, with a full season of games costing $4,092 to attend. They’re closely followed by the Golden State Warriors, who do have slightly cheaper season tickets ($4,050), but more expensive home game parking ($1,850 per season, vs the Knicks’ $1,570), while Memphis Grizzlies fans can enjoy the cheapest season ticket prices in the league for $688.

Finally, the NFL ranks as the league with the least expensive season tickets overall, but its small number of games means other sports offer better value for money. The San Francisco 49ers boast the league’s most expensive season ticket ($1,400), narrowly beating the Philadelphia Eagles ($1,300) and Dallas Cowboys ($1,300). Meanwhile, an Arizona Cardinals season ticket is the most affordable in the league, costing a minimum of $485 for the cheapest option.

The cost of being a Premier League superfan

cost of being a premier league superfanNow that we’ve talked about the price of following a Big Four team, let’s compare it to one of the biggest leagues overseas.

The Premier League is England’s top soccer league, with millions of fans around the world watching each week. But while its away games are cheaper on average, the cost of viewership from home is much higher than in any American league.

The most expensive season ticket for a Premier League club comes from Arsenal, who charge £1,127 ($1,510) to attend each of their matches for a season. Their fellow London-based teams, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, then rank second and third, respectively. Chelsea charge £880 ($1,179) for their season tickets, while Tottenham’s cost £856 ($1,147).

The real kicker for Premier League fans, though, is the cost of their TV and streaming packages.

An annual Sky Sports subscription, which features most games in the Premier League, costs £264 in the UK ($353.76), while fans who want to watch their team compete in European tournaments will have to pay another £216 ($289.44) for a TNT Sports subscription.

Keep up with the action from home

Of course, for many of us, it’s unrealistic to catch every game in a team’s season live. Whether it’s the high cost of travel or work and family commitments, most of us will have to settle for the home viewing experience.

But, if you’re looking to get more out of your sports fandom, then why not play along with your favorite teams using Hard Rock Bet? Visit our sportsbook page for the latest odds on all the biggest games across America.

Methodology

This analysis estimates the annual cost of being a dedicated fan across five major leagues: the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and the English Premier League (EPL).

To create a fair comparison, we broke fan expenses into three key categories:

  • Total Game Costs: This includes the average season ticket price, parking fees, and the cost of one beer, one soft drink, and one hotdog per home game. It also factors in estimated travel and ticket expenses for all away games, assuming fans attend every match their team plays.
  • Yearly Merchandise Costs: We considered the typical yearly spend on official team gear, including a home and away jersey, team hat, and hoodie.
  • Yearly Extra Viewing Costs: This covers the price of streaming or broadcast subscriptions used to watch games at home, such as MLB TV or equivalent league-specific platforms, plus general sports streaming services.

Because each league’s schedule varies dramatically, for instance, 162 games in MLB versus 17 in the NFL, the total estimated annual cost of fandom differs significantly between sports.

Mauricio Sulaiman

WBC boxing president Mauricio Sulaimán spoke to Hard Rock Bet and discussed the biggest headlines in boxing.

Sulaimán revealed plans to continue the WBC Grand Prix, discussed the heavyweight division, including a possible return for Tyson Fury, and Mayweather-Pacquiao 2 rumors.

With Jake Paul preparing to face Gervonta Davis, the WBC boss also analyzed the upcoming showdown.

WBC Grand Prix’s future

The WBC Grand Prix has been well received ahead of the final set of fights in December; can we expect this to continue in 2026?

Mauricio Sulaimán: “Oh, it’s amazing. We got to the semi-final stage, which was tremendous — great fights — and we are all set for December 20th in Riyadh for the grand finals of the featherweight, super lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight divisions. It’s unbelievable.”

“It has proven to be a real World Cup of professional boxing. Great fighters, great talent, great matchups. The administration has been flawless.”

“There’s been so much work from the different teams that have been assembled — it’s tremendous. From the medical perspective, NAS Medical from England has done a superb job.”

“The administration of the Boxing Commission, working with the Middle East and the Saudi Arabian Boxing Commission, along with international boxing and MMA consultants, the total synergy of the ring officials — it has all been tremendous.”

“In terms of production, setup, and logistics, it’s been a great, great success overall. I have spoken with His Excellency Turki Alalshikh.”

“He has expressed his desire to continue with it in 2026 as well. We’re yet to sit down and go through the specifics — the dates, the weight categories, the number of fighters, etcetera — but I am hopeful it will continue.”

Who will face Usyk next?

Agit Kabayel is interim champion, will you make him mandatory to face Oleksandr Usyk next?

Mauricio Sulaimán: “Yeah, we have the WBC Convention coming up in December, and that’s where we will review every weight category and make the assessment and ruling on each category.”

“The WBC, specifically on heavyweight, has been very flexible and lenient in order to secure the greatest fights in the division. We were very proactive in supporting the unification that led to the undisputed championship.”

“So, we had Oleksandr Usyk defeating Tyson Fury, then the rematch. For some reason, Daniel Dubois had become the IBF champion, and Usyk was not undisputed, but now he is once again undisputed. The WBC has the interim champion in Kabayel, and I believe he’s going to be defending his title in January. But as I said, we’re going to review the heavyweight category as well as all of them during the convention.”

Will Tyson Fury return to boxing?

How great would it be for boxing if Tyson Fury returned?

Mauricio Sulaimán: “He’s a tremendous champion, a great person, a great family man. There’s speculation about whether he will return or not. I saw him a couple of days ago posting that he’s very happy being retired, enjoying life as a family man, etcetera. We will see.”

“If he decides to return, the WBC, of course, will welcome him. He has been a tremendous champion for the WBC and for boxing. However, if he decides to stay retired, that’s also a great decision. He has a lot of money, a beautiful family, and a happy life to live forever.”

Absolutely. If Tyson were to return, though, where do you think he would be in the rankings? I know you have a convention in December, but would he go back to number one?

Mauricio Sulaimán: “We do not speculate. If he decides to return, then we’ll address the situation.”

Rumours of Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao 2

There are rumours of Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao 2, what do you make of this?

Mauricio Sulaimán: “Well, Mayweather–Pacquiao was the greatest fight as a business in the history of the sport. They are two icons, two legends of boxing, two Hall of Famers. So, if they decide to do another fight, I think of course it is good for the sport.”

“They are on the same level in terms of age and ability. Manny Pacquiao just fought for the WBC title, so he was very clear and capable. I’m sure they would look at thousands of medical issues to ensure there would be no obstacles for them to get into the ring. If they decide to do it, I do believe it’s good for the sport.”

How proud were you to be part of Manny Pacquiao’s comeback fight earlier this year against Mario Barrios?

Mauricio Sulaimán: “Very proud. It was challenging times, but we were very sure, very certain. We took that decision not lightly. We did everything that we were supposed to do, and we were proven correct. Manny Pacquiao performed, and it was something we prayed for.”

“Manny had a great outing. It was a draw against the champion, so I’m very proud and very happy for Manny Pacquiao, for the WBC, and for Mario Barrios. He got good exposure, a good payday, and boxing won that night.”

Jake Paul is set to fight Tank Davis, is this good for boxing?

Mauricio Sulaimán: “Jake Paul has had a tremendous influence on the sport, and as a promoter, he has given opportunities to many fighters to make good money.”

“He’s supported women’s boxing, which is great. As a fighter, he has been hesitant whether he wants to fight in the normal structure of boxing — looking for a world championship challenge — or to fight in a different scenario, like against MMA fighters, basketball players, or celebrities.”

“Gervonta Davis is a tremendous fighter, with a huge following. So, I hope everything goes well. It’s difficult to comment because of the differences in weight categories.”

What does the WBC have up its sleeve when it comes to the latest technology for boxing?

Mauricio Sulaimán: “The Reality Series WBC Boxing Grand Prix has been like a laboratory — a few things that we’ve worked on for a long time with great success. We have a new scoring system. We also used five judges instead of three in the semi-finals.”

“We have a 30-second buzzer before the end of the round, encouraging the fighters to engage. Instant replay has been a great success. Open scoring after the second and fourth rounds has been tremendous for fighters — so they know where they stand on the official cards and what they have to do.”

“We also have a new lighting system implemented inside the ring posts. Whenever a corner wants to stop the fight, they hit a button and the lights go on, because many fighters, when the fight is about to be stopped, receive unnecessary punches between the time the corner signals and the referee notices.”

“So I would say all these experiments have been tremendously successful, and we are looking forward to implementing them in WBC activity.”

brad friedel

In an exclusive interview, former Premier League and U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Brad Friedel shared his views on the evolution of Major League Soccer, the direction of Mauricio Pochettino’s U.S. project, and the current state of Liverpool and Aston Villa, two of his former clubs.

Friedel discussed the commercial and sporting risks of big-name signings like Neymar, the impact of Lionel Messi in MLS, and the league’s challenges with TV revenue. He also provided valuable insight into the U.S. national team’s development under Pochettino, the ongoing battle for the No.1 goalkeeper spot, and what would define a successful 2026 World Cup.

Finally, Friedel reflected on Liverpool’s struggles without Alisson, Giorgi Mamardashvili’s potential, Emiliano Martínez’s mindset, and why Aston Villa holds a special place in his heart.

Neymar to Inter Miami: A Commercial Dream, a Sporting Risk

Friedel views Neymar’s potential move to Inter Miami as a significant commercial boost, but a risky sporting decision due to his age and injury history. However, with a carefully structured contract, the risks could be mitigated, and his presence could further elevate MLS, following Messi’s example. Still, MLS needs improved TV deals to truly capitalize on these high-profile signings.

Would Neymar be a smart signing for Inter Miami or a risky one, given his recent injury record?

“I think it would be a risk on anyone’s behalf. I think it just depends on how you would structure the contract. You also have to weigh the pros and cons, when you sign legends of the game like Neymar, you also have to take into account the commercial opportunities that go with it, and it coincides nearly every time with the salary and wage packet that you are going to give.

You are going to make a substantial amount of money off the field when you bring someone like that in. I think there is probably more of a sporting risk than a commercial risk, or equally so if he does get injured. But if he doesn’t get injured, the risk becomes his age and the injuries he has had, and whether he can be that player [they need].

The plus side is, it is a league that is a step down from where he is playing. Lionel Messi is the greatest of all time, but he can play many more years in MLS. It is a league that will allow players to do that, so I think Inter Miami need to weigh the pros and cons of what they can earn off the field and try to get it correct.

If they can structure the contract correctly, then it limits the risk. Having Neymar alongside Messi again, I am not sure. We will wait and see, but the league needs to do something commercially.

The TV contract needs to be bigger within the MLS to make sure the league can be profitable, because the way it is set up, it is not. Bringing in the likes of Thomas Müller at Vancouver, look at what it has done for them. Again, I don’t know if it has impacted them commercially in a positive way, but the MLS has to do something, and Neymar would be another step in the right direction.”

Will Luis Suárez agree to play for another year if ‘MSN’ can be reformed?

“I am not in or around his group to know, but I have played against him many times, and when you watch him run, I don’t know if it is his ankles or his knees, but it is getting to the end for him, so I don’t know if he can do another year even if he wants to. I would not be surprised when he does say that he will be retiring.”

Messi’s Legacy and MLS’s Next Steps

Friedel connects Neymar’s potential move to the broader challenge MLS faces in leveraging star power for long-term success. While Messi has brought increased visibility to the league and soccer in the United States, he emphasizes that MLS must improve its TV contracts to stay competitive with other U.S. sports. Like Messi, Neymar could raise the league’s profile, but MLS needs stronger revenue streams to make it sustainable.

You talked about Messi and his influence, now that more than two years have passed, what should be the next steps to maximize his presence in MLS?

“The big thing is the TV contract. It has been well noted that there are some struggles with the subscription base and the viewership within the Apple TV contract. There are so many competitors when it comes to watching football in the US. People around the world only think of the other major sports, but you also have sports like NASCAR, which has huge viewing figures.

It’s not as cut and dried as just signing the name, but when Messi was signed, I was in the Miami area a lot, and before he signed, you would not have known there was a club there. Now you do, you see his name and the shirts all over the place. That’s only a small pocket of the United States. I know Messi is global, but I am talking about the other communities, cities and teams. What makes the Premier League better and better is the television revenue.

The MLS simply doesn’t have the TV revenue to cover the costs. I don’t have the answer, but what Messi needs to do is the same as what he always does, and that is to play the games he is picked for. You can tell he has a good relationship with his teammates; he tries to make the players around him better. If Inter Miami were to lose him, then I think that would be devastating for the league and for Inter Miami. If he stays, then he just needs to keep doing the same.”

Do you think Inter Miami’s project with Messi needs to win the MLS Cup to be considered successful?

“That’s a little bit different from the American mentality. In the other sports, there are many seasons that are write-off seasons, the American fans are used to that. There are legends of the game who don’t win trophies. I think everyone in the United States thinks Lionel Messi is the greatest, or joint greatest, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. I don’t think that matters as much, everyone thinks he is the greatest.

For Lionel, watching him on the field and seeing what occurs when Inter Miami lose, those guys aren’t happy, which is quite nice for me to see. Sometimes, and this isn’t Messi, but some of the players haven’t conducted themselves in the correct manner, though it shows they still want to win, which is great.

You don’t want players coming to the league who don’t care if they win or lose. I’m sure he wants to win and play every minute, but changing people’s minds over whether he is the greatest, I don’t think it matters if he wins or loses.”

Looking ahead to the start of next season, how much does the idea of being on the verge of a final World Cup affect a player’s performance at club level?

“It has been one of the downsides of it, but they are doing things that the league is allowing them to do, and you have to live with it. The fact of the matter is, America is still building; the better players move abroad, so they are not in MLS.

I would imagine that Lionel Messi potentially has a say in what players he wants in the team. Unfortunately, that would probably lead to there not being a lot of American players who are going to be the supporting cast.”

USA: Pochettino’s Project and the Path to 2026

Turning to the U.S. Men’s National Team, Friedel expresses confidence in Mauricio Pochettino’s leadership despite mixed results in friendlies. He parallels the growth of MLS with the growth of the U.S. team, noting that both need time to develop. Just as Messi’s presence has made a visible impact, Friedel believes Pochettino’s influence will shape a competitive squad by 2026, with success defined by advancing past the group stage and improving with each match.

How are you seeing Mauricio Pochettino’s project? Do you share some fans’ frustration with the poor results in friendly matches?

“I don’t share the same frustration because I know how Mauricio works and I know how talented he and his staff are. When results aren’t positive, there will be lots of people who get frustrated and voice their opinions.

I think a few of the pundits over in the US are speaking quite personally about some of the players, which I thought was a bit over the top, especially when there are no qualification games and a new manager who also has to come to terms with the true mentality of the American players.

It is normal for that to take a bit of time when a foreign manager goes into another national team, but in today’s world, especially with social media, people get their opinions out quickly, and that’s just another added element of what coaches and players have to deal with.

My stance has always been the same as the day he was hired: Mauricio is one of the best coaches out there, and he has one of the best sets of staff out there, and he will get a squad together by the time the World Cup is here that is very competitive.

Does that mean getting out of the group stages or making the quarter-finals? Who knows. You have to see what the draw is and whether there are injuries or suspensions. I believe in Mauricio and believe in his staff. If you have seen the last three games, you can start to see that the squad is coming together.

The one thing that is for sure with Mauricio is that, when the World Cup kicks off, there will be 11 players on the pitch who are fighting like hell for each other. That will happen. Mauricio just has to find the right players who will fit into his system on and off the field because, believe me, he has a different set of codes that some of the players may not be accustomed to off the field, and they have to get used to that.

I still back him wholeheartedly, no matter what has happened during the friendly matches.”

How do you see the competition among the goalkeepers?

“I would say it looks like Matt Freese is number one. I brought Matt into the national team for the youth team and gave him his debut, and I signed Chris Brady as an agent back in the day. He is in there as well.

I think long term, Chris Brady is doing incredibly well. Could he take his form after the short MLS break and become the starter? We will have to wait and see. I think Zack Steffen and Matt Turner are both excellent goalkeepers, but because they signed for Man City and Arsenal, they didn’t get a lot of playing time for multiple years. As a goalkeeper, what is important is that you play games.

Matt’s made his move back, and so has Zack, and will that be enough to get themselves back into the frame? I always thought the last camp in October was the start of Mauricio not experimenting anymore, and Freese played the games.

The next upcoming international break will be another telling sign of that. I would probably say the order is Freese at one; number two and three will depend on who is in form come the World Cup.”

Do you expect Mauricio Pochettino to stay on as coach after the World Cup?

“I never asked Mauricio about his contract or status, ever. If the US has a decent run… I don’t know what his relationships are like with the board. I can see him staying, but I can also see big clubs wanting him. You never know with that.”

Finally, from your point of view, what would a successful World Cup look like for the United States?

“You have to look at the draw. The US is not in a luxury position like England, Brazil or Argentina, where no matter who they get drawn with, they are getting out of the group. They have to take it step by step and see what the draw is and whether they can get out of the group.

Once you are out of the group, then it is down to lady luck, I’m afraid, with the draw. In the last World Cup, they had a solid side, but then you saw them against the Netherlands, and they were very much second best on the day.

It depends on what draw you get, the teams you play, and whichever goalkeeper plays, they will have to be very good in the World Cup because, as the teams hopefully advance, they are going to get better and better. They will create chances no matter what. I would say success is to get out of the group and then take it game by game.”

Liverpool & Aston Villa: Life Between the Posts

Friedel concludes by discussing his former clubs, Liverpool and Aston Villa, both of which face challenges in their own right. Liverpool’s struggles without Alisson show the importance of a strong backbone, much like how star players like Messi (and possibly Neymar) anchor their teams in MLS. Meanwhile, Aston Villa’s growing confidence mirrors the rise of other clubs like Inter Miami, with Friedel’s positive reflections on the club’s culture and fan support linking back to the importance of strong foundations, both on and off the pitch.

How much have Liverpool missed Alisson? Has his absence been overlooked amid all the talk about their poor form?

“Enormously. Alisson is one of the greats at the club, but I also think they will be missing him off the field when things aren’t going well, to help situations and to make sure players stay in line. He is so good in one v ones; you can play high lines and know he is there. Giorgi Mamardashvili is a very good goalkeeper, but he is very new when it comes to playing in the Premier League. He needs to learn the Premier League, which is normal.

He has a big frame and looks very good, but at this moment in time he is not Alisson. That is fine; it doesn’t mean he is not a good goalkeeper. It is a little bit unfortunate that at the time Alisson is out, Kelleher has gone, and he would’ve been used to playing at Anfield and used to playing with the Liverpool squad. They miss him immensely. They could be missing him more than any other player.”

What have you made of Giorgi Mamardashvili? Some question marks have been raised about him. Has he shown he can be the long-term successor to Alisson?

“It is too early to tell for me. I think it is really difficult for goalkeepers to come in right away and be incredible. Some do, of course, but the Premier League is different. I remember when Hugo Lloris first came to Tottenham, he was at Lyon, a Champions League club, and he was an important layer for France, winning games.

But when he came to the Premier League, he found that he had so much to do all the time, whereas when he was playing at Lyon, he didn’t have as much to do. You have to get used to that as a goalkeeper; you have to get mentally prepared that if you are playing bottom of the league, you might have to do more. You just never know, because it is the Premier League.

I think before people can really jump on to how he is, they need to let him have a run of games, to be settled in the country and at the club for a little while. Then we can have our opinions on whether he can be the successor.

But I don’t think he is one you can jump on the back of right now. Everyone knows Alisson is number one, let him learn his trade. He has many years ahead of him, so let’s see how he develops.”

On to your other former club, Aston Villa. Emiliano Martínez appeared to suffer a dip in form after all the Man Utd speculation in the summer. Do you think that affected him?

“I think it impacted him. I have met Emi Martínez, and he is a super guy, a top-class professional. I was a little bit surprised when I saw him at the end of the season; it did seem like a farewell, so when you are like that, naturally I thought he had a move [to another club].

Mentally, looking from the outside in, I think he was prepared for that move and not mentally prepared to stay. That’s what it looked like to me from the outside. Now, in meeting him and knowing him a little bit now that he has stayed, I think he loves Aston Villa and will work incredibly hard.

I just think he thought that he was done, and that is what it looked like to me. Is he still one of the world’s best? Yes. Can we get his form back? Absolutely, without a doubt. I think we are judging him. If he has a little dip in form, and his form has been so high for so long, then a little dip isn’t so bad.”

Many regard him as the best goalie in the world. Do you feel he’s the best still?

“I still think he is a top-five goalkeeper in the world, top five or top seven. When you are him, there are only a handful of clubs that you would consider moving to from a club like Aston Villa. I didn’t know whether it was Barcelona, Man United or whoever, but if it was Man United, then you could argue that Aston Villa is in a better place than Man United.

If it is Barcelona and you come from South America, I can understand that move. For Aston Villa, I am delighted he has stayed because it is hard to get a keeper so good.”

Who will come out on top in the battle of your former clubs at Anfield on Saturday?

“Normally, I would say Liverpool, but I can’t put my finger on what has happened to them. They have leaked quite a few goals, but with Mo Salah’s reaction in the Champions League, they may have one or two other issues to sort out off the field.

I would have to predict a draw, and this is probably the most likely result. Liverpool will come out of their slump; they have too much firepower going on. They still have outstanding players defensively. I really don’t see Liverpool losing this game, but Aston Villa will be full of confidence too.”

How do you reflect on your time at Villa?

“They are an incredible club. I played many years against Aston Villa and had some friends along the way who had played at the club, but you obviously don’t really know the club until you are there.

I thought the whole training ground set-up was superb, the stadium, the fans, and I really liked the fans because they pressure the players enough but don’t go overboard. As a player, you knew they would back you even if they had a go at you, so I really liked that. They are very similar to Liverpool fans in that manner.

They would applaud good football, even from the opposition, if it warranted it. You could tell it was a very educated footballing crowd. Martin O’Neill is a very intelligent man, and we had a very good thing going at the club.

You never know as a player what is going on behind the scenes, but the manager and Randy Lerner had a falling-out, which is a shame, as it stopped a bit of the progression. But I really enjoyed my time at Aston Villa.”

We’ve all been there… you craft the perfect parlay or land on a player prop that seems destined for success only to have a turned ankle or twisted knee tank the ticket. It’s frustrating. Well, Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook is introducing a new Player Injury Insurance policy designed to alleviate a little bit of that frustration.

Effective October 21, 2025, Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook’s Player Injury Insurance will apply to all cash bets placed on any NFL or NBA players. Simply put, if the player you bet on gets hurt during the first half of play and doesn’t return to the game, and that bet alone is what prevents your wager from cashing, we’ve got your back with a Bonus Bet equal to the stake.

Hard Rock Bet NFL Injury Insurance

The Player Injury Insurance policy is pretty straightforward for NFL betting. Any cash wagers on individual players, whether it be a single bet or a parlay, will receive a Bonus Bet equal in value to the initial wager if the player is injured before half time and doesn’t return after half time.

NFL Injury Insurance Example: single bet

Let’s say you place a $100 wager on Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook for your favorite team’s quarterback to throw for over 245.5 yards on Sunday afternoon. However, after a hot start he comes up holding his shoulder after a tricky hit in the middle of the second quarter and leaves the game. A few moments later it’s announced that he is out for the game and will not return. In this case, having not played in the second half, your bet is eligible for Injury Insurance and a $100 Bonus Bet (matching the original wager) will be issued within 48 hours of the bet settling as a loss.

NFL Injury Insurance Example: parlay bet

Now, let’s say you placed the same exact wager on a quarterback to throw for more than 245.5 yards but instead of a single bet, you place it as one of five separate legs on a parlay or same game parlay. The same shoulder injury occurs, and he’s ruled out before half time. If the other four legs included on the ticket all succeed, and the only leg preventing the ticket from cashing is the quarterback who left the game early with the shoulder injury, then the bet is eligible for Player Injury Insurance. Be on the lookout for a Bonus Bet equal to the size of your wager within 48 hours.

Notably, if you bet a parlay and more than one leg of the bet fails, your wager is NOT eligible for injury protection. The ticket needs to be perfect except for the injury effected leg.

Hard Rock Bet NBA Injury Insurance

Player Injury Insurance also applies for cash bets on NBA players. Covering both single bets and parlays, if you have an NBA bet that would have won if not for an early exit from a player, Player Injury Insurance kicks in.

NBA Injury Insurance example: single bet

As an example, imagine you’ve identified a 3-point prop that you liked in a prime time matchup and elected to bet a unit on that player to score more than 2.5 3-pointers. He comes out hot, draining two from deep, but then twists his knee diving for a loose ball in the second quarter. He exits the game, and doesn’t return. As long as he doesn’t re-enter the game in the second half, this bet would work be eligible for Injury Insurance.

NBA Injury Insurance Example: parlay bet

Parlay wagers are tickets that need multiple bets to succeed in order to pay out. Imagine you sit down before a prime time NBA matchup and you assemble a three-bet Same Game Parlay and bet $20 on it.

  • Player 1: over 25 points
  • Player 2: to record a double-double
  • Player 3: over 5.5 assists

Before half time Player 1 is ruled out with an injury and doesn’t return to the game. However, if player 2 does record a double-double, and player 3 does register more than 5.5 assists… your bet would qualify for Injury Insurance since the only leg that prevented you from winning was the injured player. In this example a $20 Bonus Bet would be credited within 48 hours.

Under the DeVos family’s ownership, the Magic have seen great success in a relatively short history, winning seven division championships (1995, 1996, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2019, 2024) with seven 50-plus win seasons and capturing the Eastern Conference title in 1995 and 2009. Off the court, on an annual basis, the Orlando Magic gives more than $2 million to the local community by way of sponsorships of events, donated tickets, autographed merchandise and grants. Orlando Magic community relations programs impact an estimated 100,000 kids each year, while a Magic staff-wide initiative provides more than 7,000 volunteer hours annually. In addition, the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) which serves at-risk youth, has distributed more than $30 million to local nonprofit community organizations over the last 35 years. The Magic’s other entities include the team’s NBA G League affiliate, the Osceola Magic, 2021 G League champions; the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL, which serves as the affiliate to the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning; and Magic Gaming of the NBA 2K League. The Magic play their home games at the award-winning Kia Center – voted by fans no. 1 in the NBA for game experience; honored with The Stadium Business Awards’ Customer Experience Award; named SportsBusiness Journal’s Sports Facility of the Year; and awarded the Venue Excellence Award (VEA) by the International Association of Venue Managers. The Magic was also named in the inaugural “Best Places to Work in Sports 2023” awards by the Sports Business Journal, and was the only sports franchise among the four major professional leagues (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB) to be honored.
